These people already had a following and were highly regarded by their peers.
People already knew, liked, and trusted them.
Read that line again.
Some of my best team members over the years have been popular successful people with a strong circle of friends.
They already had influence.
People bought the products and joined our team just because they were doing it.
And here's why this is so important...
People follow and buy from people they know like and trust. (This is why companies teach you to contact your friends and family first, the people who most likely know like and trust you).
However, we all know that you can only do that for so long.
I don't know about you, but for me personally, in the end my friends and family got fed up of seeing me post (and talk) about my business all the time...
